A wonderful product.  Used mine attached to the tripod plate.  Carried camera with 70-300 L attached for 6+ hours.

Highly underrated lens...excellent IS.... Great IQ ...congrats.

Thanks Ray, that is almost exactly what I have heard. I ran into a lady a week ago who had one on her 5D2 and she said she never takes it off. She remarked how fast the AF is and how super sharp the photos were. She showed me a few pics on her camera and I was pretty impressed. I believe I made a great choice.

D

Congratulations.  Excellent high end, affordable lens.  You did make a great choice.  Enjoy it.

Did some serious landscape work in BC last week.  These have been fairly heavily edited, but hopefully they will give an idea of what can be done with the files from this camera.

Love them.  :)

Anyone?  So far only talk, and reports of having bought one.  I haven't seen any pics yet.  :-\  Bring it!

For those who own a 6D, we know it takes great pictures in all lightning conditions.  The concern is the focus.  Here is one I took tracking a sea gull.  I panned and clicked once.  First shot came out fine.

Canon or Nikon? 6D or D600?  Honestly, who cares?  What matters is your experience with the product.  If you're happy with something then good for you.  I have a 6D and love it.  Am I missing something by not having a D600?  Perhaps.  I don't care.  All I know is I have a  6D that performs better than what I expected and having a great time using it so far.  Having little experience or knowledge of a product does not make it inferior.

I think I'll go out and invest in... a bag of potato chips.... Wonder what they will be worth in 2023?

I dunno...have you seen the price of Twinkies lately?!?   :P

Yeah, but twinkies are the best bet, as they ever expire.

Hold onto those twinkies and other Hostess products.  Could be worth big bucks if the company goes bankrupt.  :)  You will have a collectors item one day.
