EOS Bodies - For Stills / Is this true

I don't know,the threads about the high iso looked as if they beat the mark 3 by a mile and the autofocus I thought that the rate of accuracy would be at least 80% .I don't care about video and I will only be using the cam for night photography.I just want to get this straight is a mark 2 really as good as he says

Lenses / 70-200 is ii vs non is

I was just hoping to get some info regarding how they stack up against each other,u don't care about weight or lack of is
I'm interested in af contrast and sharpness. And oh yes flare control.

Just want to know if its worth the premium is I'm not a big fan of is

EOS Bodies / taurians upgrading to 5d mark 3

My mom attributes my tendency to upgrade to 5d from 7d on being a taurian (sun sign taurus)
So just wondering how many taurians upgraded from the 7d to the mark 3,maybe I'd too
P.S- I know this doesnt come under eos bodies

Lenses / lens for a lightpainter

Hmm,
 its Gotta be extremely sharp at apertures beyond f/5.6

Weather sealed coz I'm gonna be using it in snow,dust,sand and what not

Tilt and shift functions are welcome( I would love it but I doubt it'd be possible)

More realistically an ultrawide lens with a good zoom range

Ability to change aperture mid exposure

Easily available ,no hunting on eBay etc

 I will be using it on a 7d so it won't be ultra wide after all

Accepts filters

Well that's pretty much what my impossible list is no lens can be everything at once so sharpness, weather sealing and ability to change aperture gets preference pretty much in that order I hope you guys can bear with me

Lenses / 100mm macro L on a 7d

Hi everyone,I have been using a 7d for about a year now and I know its limitations quite well.I am sure ff is the way to go for the future though I am pretty sure a 6d isn't the answer for a 7d user (atleast me).

 I'm 17, still a student and 10 years away from a ff upgrade the 100 macro might as well be my last lens so I was wondering if its the right choice for a portrait/lowish light lens with a macro bonus.or should I consider something else within that budget (not the non l version I'm pretty sure about that too)

P.S- I  love taking shots in low light and light painting (i know, 7d is a perfect camera for that) so I am pretty frustrated on being limited to bright daylight shots so any tips are welcome,after all in 10 years point and shoots will have better ISO performance so i'll make the switch then
