Lighting / 270ex II. Any sample pictures?

Hi,

Can share?

One Ceiling bounce, One Wall bounce, One direct indoor, and One direct outdoor, preferably shooting group of people.

My intention is only to make fill flash, removed shadows in face, not to light whole seen.
I believe 270ex is enough for this. what do you think?
I am using 6D + 28mm 1.8.

Speedlites, Printers, Accessories / Anyone with 270ex experience? sample images?

I have a 6D + 28mm 1.8. I want to improve my ISO when taking shots indoor.
I am really looking at 270ex II,. I can't find any real review with sample images.

Will this flash improved my ISO settings from 12800 to like 4000 or less?
Is ETTL performance good?

My usual settings are: Av Mode, Auto ISO, 1/60 min shutter speed.

I shoot portrait or people in groups.

Can anyone share sample group shots taken with 270ex II?

ps. please don't suggest higher model first, since I want to know if 270ex will work or not first.
If really I am convinced that 270 ex will not work, then I will find alternative.

I am sorry, but I love 28mm.
not to wide, not too narrow.

If i want 35 or 50mm point of view. I can just crop it.
cropping is totally fine with me.

But I still want what F1.4 Depth of field could give.
I find 35mm still narrow for my liking and style.

I have Canon 28mm 1.8 + 6D with me.

Added: What aperture you normally use? when you dont intend bokeh.

In low light,
Up to what ISO you willing to go?
When handheld at 28mm, how low is shutter speed you willing to go?
which camera you refer to?

Background:

I got 6D recently, coming from a G12 I was carried away, use Av Mode and set aperture < 2.8, ISO range up to 25600. After Christmas, I checked my pictures and a lot of the shots was in 12800 above. And my G12 old pics looks better, in the past I used manual mode on G12 and carefully not go > 1600 ISO and < 1/30 shutter speed.

EOS Bodies - For Stills / 6D wifi app autofocus not working

I manage to connect to remote shooting my 6D using android.

But when I press the smaller button of the two button.. It does nothing. I expect it to autofocus,
i tried holding it but still it does nothing. I tried using different android phones, but still the same.

Did I miss any setting? or my 6D may have fault?

I want to check forum before I send it to service center.

EOS Bodies - For Stills / 6D same scene multiple shots different image color

hi did continues shots (3 shots) of the same scene, but when I check the pictures, i notice that the color shade is shifting (different from each other). i use same setting manual mode, fluorescent white balance, fix iso.

Is this normal?

EOS Bodies - For Stills / 6D AF point direct selection Not Working

Thru Custom Controls, I set such that selection of AF points can be controlled directly using 8-direction multi-controller, without having to press AF selection button.

But when I am composing my shots, I press multi-controller, but nothing happen.
In lock settings, multi-controller is uncheck. Even my unlock switch is set to unlocked.

Does everybody experience this, or is my 6D is faulty one?
