Stop with the smaller DSLRs with the 18mp sensors and make a FF that can match the D800 at a price point the 7D crowd can get into. You will not regret it.

For profissionals the 12k isn't a problem. but me... i won't get it ever.

7D is good but aged 3 yeats. If you buy it now you will blame yourself 2-6 months later when new products released.
Keep your 500D at lest a month and see what Canon will announce for Photokina (September 16)

It might be in stock over here but have you noticed the price we have to pay? 229 quid??? With todays exchange rate it gets to $355 compared to $199 preorder price in the US...A slight rip off?

Then why you don't buy it from the US?
Shipping will cost you less than $50.
