I also have this shot in which I combined two different exposures in photoshop but I prefer the original that was edited from a single raw in Lightroom

Golly gee, can someone tell me what the DR is in this image?  anyone?  No?  ok... awesome image.  This is what we should be worried about, not some number somewhere on some website.   :)

Before I got my 5D I was worried about specs and that the camera wasn't going to be what I expected. But as soon as I got i forgot about everything and I've just been enjoying shooting and I'm really happy with my purchase. Nikon as better DR? I don't think it makes much of a difference after a little PP

Nice shot.   What were your camera/lens settings?

I'm very curious to see some detail under the pier. Any possibility you could try new HDR option of 5D3?  Not necessarily a better choice, just a different one?

ISO 50, F/16, 0.5 Sec. With a 5D Mark III and a 24mm F1.4L II.

I took some shots that same day to try out the function. I am not a big fan of HDR but I will post the photo when I get home tonight

Excellent photo.
I would PP the waterbird to go and swim somewhere else. Disturbing the peaceful nature of the view

Thank you. You know I was thinking if I should take it off or not, but I don't know I keep changing my mind. I like it cause it helps brake off the symmetry but on the other hand I think that symmetry is the whole point of the shot so i don't know  ??? i wonder what other people think?

This one is ISO 1600 shot

This is how the JPEG looks like straight out of the camera which I think is really good for a Night Image, even the white balance seems pretty accurate

Very nice shot! What are the specs on this shot?

ISO 100, F/11, 30 sec. Shot in RAW

Beautiful shot! Can't wait to try this camera and my 50L too. Did you need to micro-adjust the focus or is that right out of the box?

I had to do the micro adjusment with my 5D mark II, but it seems to be spot on with the mark III. The auto Focus is incredible, specially coming from a mark II

Sorry, i have to ask, but is the bridge really that out of level? I very much doubt it's lens distortion, but man...
haha it is actually the bridge that is out of level, that cough my eye as well
