the biggest interrogations seem to be on the AF sytem and the sensor, new ones or not

With the incredible wildlife there, tons of birds, mammals... For me it's a no brainer the 500mm with your 5dIII will be a terrific combo !

I couldn't resist. I had to Google "sagittal MRI" and I found this fascinating page using a sagittal MRI of Homer Simpson to explain the subject. Pretty interesting!! And if you look at a lot of sagittal MRI images, I think you will agree that Neuro's looks pretty good in comparison.

keep your 5D mark III and go light with so good F/4 lenses ; the 24-70 f/4 L IS should be a very good one and the ultra light 70-200 f/4 L IS is a great one !
