I think this book took him something like two months to write, many of the things you buy everyday didn't require that much work. But it's really up to you to look at this way. I was just sharing something that i think could be really useful for many photographers out there, didn't want to start a polemic ;)

The trailmaster is just a part of the camera trap. This ebook is dedicated to the whole building of a trap and how to use it, how to prepare it, set it and put it on the right spot... He shares his experience for those who wanna try this technique.

I don't know if some of you are interested in the camera trap technique for wildlife photography like Steve Winter does for Panthera or the National Geaographic, but i would like to share a link for an ebook written by a friend of mine about this particular technique which gives awesome results.

See what my friend can do with ol' rebel bodies and 10-20 lenses (here in the rainforests of Costa Rica) :

here's the direct link for the ebook :

Of course i don't earn any dollar on it, i just wanna share...

I'm glad to have buy a new 70d for 892 € (and don't wait for the 7D II) and be happy about how it performs !

Does anyone use that zoom lens ? I mostly use my two dslr bodies (40D and recently acquired 70d) for wildlife photography but i need an all around zoom mostly for portraits, landscapes and travels.

I know the 24-105 f/4 L IS is certainly my best option, but considering the low price of that Sigma lens, i'm curious to read opinions from photographers who utilize or can compare it to the 24-105 f/4 L IS or even the ol' 24-70 f/2.8 L (if it can be compared to these kind of lenses)...

I f you're fans of other third party zoom lenses that can interest me, don't hesitate !

If Canon take too long to announce 7D Mark II, people will buy 70D. I'm just warning you

Yes and that's the business strategy... and since the 7D Mark II will be much more expensive than the 70D it might no be the same kind of photographers who will buy it.

Canon 400mm f/2.8 IS II is 11K.  I think the reasonable price for Sigma 400mm should be about 6K if the IQ of it is close or equal to Canon version.

+1 but i think that for these big lenses the huge difference (beside the price) will be the weight (and hopfully not weather sealing). the Sigma lenses will be really heavier for sure...

Here a new deep and great one,  from Bryan at The Digital Picture...

According to the owner's manual, a 7D version (N) lacking WIFI capability is planned to be available. The 70D version (W) is the specified WIFI-capable version – this is the only model I've seen available here in the USA.

Does it mean no Wi-fi in the 7D marl II ? I guess...

it would be huge even if only half of these lenses rumored are really available next year !!! and at the same quality, sharpness and great pricing than the 120-300 2.8, 35 1.4 or the 18-35 1.8, it would be great, a new 300 2.8 OS for 3.5/4K would interested me a lot !

Caïmans are common preys of the Jaguars but that one is bigger one than usual for sure... They're so powerful !

Terrific pictures and intensity ! The Jag has a badly wounded right eye...
