this is quite interesting... they actually check serial numbers on the way back??  i'm from the US so this topic is quite interesting... didn't realize that they were so anal about import taxes to this degree in the EU/UK.

I'm sick of reading all these whiny posts about "gonna switch to Nikon".  Do you guys enjoy taking pictures or just collecting tech?  When you invest in a brand, you invest in the system.  Just because the competing brand releases something "better" you honestly think Canon is going to sit idle?  If you've already thought about it, don't justify it to everyone else, just do it and be done with it.

If anyone had bothered to download the CR2 File of the first photo they could clearly see several things:

the aspect ration of the display is 16x9
There are Cinema 1 Cinema2 and Cinema 3 settings on the shooting mode dial.

I think this is clearly an example of the Cinema EOS DSLR in the field.

Aren't those C1, C2 and C3 just a custom-settings? My 7D have those aswell.

That's correct, C1, C2, and C3 are CUSTOM, not CINEMA...
