So I updated my 5D3 with the new firmware and now I can't seem to select any focus point groupings other then: "Single-point AF.  I can move the Single-point AF around but I can only select the "Single-point AF" ( the little soft cornered square).  I have poured over pages 72-73 of the manual but nothin' :o

Am I the only one?

This helped me a lot. Great demo and explanation.

I guess I don't know how to post the link but copy and paste this:  philipbloom.net/?p=24586

He does other video comparisons between: 5D3, D800, D4.  Yet other video reviews of 1DX also 1DC both way out of my price range but also worth a look.

I liked seeing what other similar cameras do - you get an idea of the range of what to expect.

Canon General / Re: How well do you see color?

Also known as "how good is your montior"?  ;)

I was wondering about that.  I normally have my monitor set to Adobe RGB, cuz' someone told me to-can't remember why.  But I changed it to sRGB because the color looked more saturated.  I don't have the patience to switch it back and try again :D

I think this is an "In a Pinch" solution.
It worked for my 7d and a 10-22mm I had. But I have to agree Clean them proper when you get home.
