I'm actually starting to think Adobe may have just done something good for the marketplace.  Adobe hasn't had any competition in the photography realm for the past ten years and they haven't done anything innovative in since CS2.  This move to the Creative Cloud, a.k.a. Cash Cow, is causing users to look at alternatives.  Fast forward three years and we may have some real choices out there besides Adobe.  It will be like another Canon vs. Nikon, which forces innovation.

Let me tell you why this is bad for us.  If Adobe thought this would be good for industry professionals they would offer an option for a License or a Creative Cloud subscription.  There's no option, which means they know most people wouldn't choose the Creative Cloud service.  The subscription prices aren't that bad right now, but we all know how Adobe is.

I ordered a camera strap from www.lightnspace. com that supposedly shipped a month ago and I still haven't received it.  I was just wondering if anyone else has ordered from this site and if they received their order?  I must admit that it looks like a scam site.  Don't even ask me why I ordered from there.  What's also weird is I can't find a single review about it and it's been active for 2.5 years.

How many lenses are available for MF systems?

Plenty for the Pentax medium format 645D:

There are others too....

Does Pentax offer tethered shooting with the 645D?  That was the biggest problem with that camera.

I'm betting it's going to be a long wait for that high MP rumored camera.  If you already own some good glass then why not invest in some strobes?  That will help with image quality.

Mac Pro with a lot of RAM and a 24" cinema display.  I think I'll get an iMac with Thunderbolt for my next upgrade in a year or two.

I still use my Sekonic 608 to figure out lighting ratios on set.  It's also a great way to buy time if you have a lot of clients watching you and you're trying to solve a problem.  Clients love light meters 

Strangely enough, I use my 5D II as a meter when I'm shooting MF film.  It works perfectly.

I think your time would be better spent building your own "Perfect Camera".  I'm not trying to be rude, but do you read the comments on these types of sites?  Half the people blogging are angry at everything and I don't think it has anything to do with Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc...  The perfect camera body is not going to fix your life.

It wouldn't make any sense for Canon to price a DSLR that high.  You might as well buy a used hassy at that price.  I bet it will be under $5000 - if this rumor is true, of course.

well everything is possible.. it could be that this camera even has the rumored square sensor.

by the way im speaking from an european viewpoint.
the 1D X costs ~8500$ here already.
so it´s not such a stretch...

in the range of 8000-10000$

maybe called EOS-S  (for studio).   

but the good thing is that maybe in 2014 we will see that sensor tech in other bodys too.
