Hi, I have the Canon EP-EX15 Eyepiece extender on my 5d2, it is the best thing I never leave home without out!
Everything works as normal except that its 30% smaller view, on a FF its not an issue. I have the same problem seeing the whole of the frame but this little devise solves the problem and you don't have to squash your face up against the lcd/eyepiece and no ugly nose oil stains on the lcd, its also cheap and I don't wear glasses! all good!!!

Hi, for street i only use the a 5d2 with 50L a great combo even at night thats where the f1.2 plays its role> and its light and small with great IQ, with the 5d3 it will be amazing! hope this helps.

Hi, yes i have the 1d4 and 300 f4L and use it with 2xiii extender.
It is usable but only just, it must be bright as the AF does struggle in low light, its also heavy and needs a tripod or monopod. IQ is ok it does loose a little sharpness. The 1.4 kenko or canon extenders are excellent and a much better alternative its not as long but IQ and usability is better you can even hand hold it! this is where the IS plays its role. I also use the 300 with the 1.4 on a crop body with excellent results! I mainly shoot aircraft and wildlife with these combos, hope this helps!!!

No No No, there must be something wrong with camera(s), I have a 40d, 5d2 & 1d4 no problems sure they miss here and there but not 6 out of 6, have you had the bodies checked from Canon?

The 40d is a classic, I've had 2, I sold one with 20000 shutter releases I still have the other which has done over 50000 clicks no probs, Its a good reliable full sized dslr!

Yes>>> a great lens for the price, construction could be better but the glass is excellent! one of the underrated lenses in the Canon line-up!

Have you tried powering the camera down and re-loading a fresh battery, does the AF-ON button focus?
If all else fails "Clear all camera settings" and try again!!!

I just bought a nice low shutter count (6500) 1D Mark IV for $3200.  I think you might have trouble selling for more than $4000.  B&H is selling them for $5000, but you are not B&H.  You might do better than $4000, but enough to justify the effort/risk?  What is the $ value of your time?

He's an idea: Buy 1 and.... take photos with it.

I also just bought one (30000) shutter count cosmetically perfect for $3200, I don't think I would spend $4000+ especially now that the 1dx is to be shipped, I would expect a flood of used 1d4 on the used market!!!
