Upgraded as soon as it was available and NEVER looked back. Sharpness significantly better, contrast and overall color rendering also 'cleaner' and more natural (less flat).
Zoom lock is a plus (usually), and I prefer a slightly tighter focus ring (especially when doing videos).

Learning to love the 50/1.2 on my workhorse 1D-X ... autofocus a little slow c/w 24-70 II, but still useable and the extra stop(s) are appreciated

I just purchased the equivalent RRS foot for the 200/2 and love it! Seems more stable, is definitely 'sleeker', and my hand fits better between the foot/monopod clamp and the lens body.

Lost our light at the end of the day - it was 45 degrees and this was last shot before the kids went off to the Prom so I apologize for underexposure but note the fringing / chromatic aberration along the bridge. Didn't notice it till it was uploaded. Fortunately Prom parents don't notice/care either

EOS Bodies - For Video / Aputure V control

Just picked up this electonic remote to help me with my focus pull while shooting video / volleyball games. It has 4 presets, which should work well for where on the court I typically shoot (service, digs, sets and kills). I have tested it on my 5d3 (1dIV and 7d) with a variety of lenses, and while when it works, it works well, but occasionally freezes and needs to be turned on / off to reset.

Anyone else try this...??
