Thank you Peter,

Call me stupid, but it is OK to use this plug adapter I live in the UK and the Re charger has a 2 pin head, and I need 3 pin for the United Kingdom, I have this plug adapter and it works, I just want to be sure its ok, as I don't want to burn the house down?

Hello all, I have just received my batteries and charger, do I need to drain the batteries and recharge them? the batteries are brand new in a packet? or simply recharge, or just leave alone,

I believe everyone's camera is the same, its a general problem, I've learnt allot from these forums, they are those people who take pictures for work and those people who don't do it enough to realize these problems exists, give me a camera and I do a job with it and I will tell you if it has a problem, it doesn't take me long to find out, people who want to test this problem really need to be out with it and doing a wedding or a night club photography shoot, I am certain you will see the problem, no good looking down under your desk with it and saying " yep mines fine".

Im honestly so F£$%"£d off with Canon really, All I can see is major mistakes and half developed products all for a large selling price, its evident that they are more concerned about profit, it actually stinks of how bad it is, I really want to jump ship to Sony, its just a shame that ship is all about EVF displays and I don't think I can handle that yet, I have spent so much money with Canon, like all of us, and cant make stupid moves, I just wish they will identify this problem and make a fix, I have just seen the  Yongnuo YN565 flash and its cheap, but the first thing that pops into my head is "why on earth should I spend 100 pounds on a flash when I have one! a 430 EXII and it is fine!! I paid 200 pounds for that here in the UK, now I may have to spend another 100 to fix a problem on a £2,300 camera? I hope everyone can see my rage.

Yes I agree,

This Thread and its responses have been fantastic, what I would also like to ask is Battery maintenance, In my current situation, I might not get a big job for maybe 2 months, lucky I teach to earn most of my money, and the small jobs here and there, but no need to worry over batteries and power every week, what is the best way to look after these type of batteries during the down times?

Im so happy I found this thread! I recently wrote a post about this and no one replied, thought I was mad, god, I did a job a month ago and I couldn't focus, I was sweating, praying to get focus in time, this really needs to be fixed, does anyone know if the problem exists with the new 600 speedlite?

Hello All,

I'm hoping you can help me make the right choice, I have been spending so much money on Batteries for jobs in the past, I just have so many old batteries laying around with half power in them, I use Double AA batteries for my 430 EXII speedlite, so I decided I need rechargeable batteries with a charger, but i know nothing about what kind are the best for the job, I need Long Lasting and good recycling times,  can any of you help me with a few choices of Charger and Batteries?
