Third Party Manufacturers / Re: Cheating - feeling guilty...

II own a 5d3, the 35L (and some other lenses).
After buying and using the X100s on a holiday in Rome I loved this camera for the weight, the IQ up to ISO 3200 and the leaf shutter allowing me sync times starting at 1/1000s of a second.

Now I own a X E2 and the 23/1,4.
Its lightweight, the IQ of the glass and the sensor is stunning, lesser attraction by my surrounding etc....

Sometimes its necessary to try something different.
Using this two systems shows me the limitations, but much more the advantages
of each system.

I love Canon AND Fuji.

May always be good light on your way; greetings from Austria

My first DSLR was the 300D.
No accessories. The cam was ok, but never bought something extra.

With the 5D2 it started. Lenses, bags, software because of now shooting RAW.
SO: because buying it with the kit- lens (24-105/4 IS) I think half a year.

Never regretted it.

Dear Suprapon!
This lens is rare, makes unique pictures to say it friendly.
If you want to have it- buy it.
You won't loose much money if you sale it, this unicorn of a lens.
Would I buy it if I have the money?
You bet!!

Have fun!

Speedlites, Printers, Accessories / Re: Custom ICC Printer Profiles
« on: December 12, 2014, 10:15:40 AM »
I recommend the Spyder products too.
Making paper profiles is a nerve consuming work, but the two profiles I made are fitting much better then the profiles, offered by the paper producers.

Good luck and be patient clicking your way through the fields!!

I read it, because I read everything.

Technical Support / Re: What kind of photo printer do you use?
« on: December 11, 2014, 02:53:16 AM »
An Epson 3800, since 2009.
Very reliable; and I learnt a lot about color profiles....

Now, with calibrated monitor and using icc profiles (sometimes I make them myself if I am not satisfied) it is fun to print myself.

Software & Accessories / Re: Tripods - CF or Aluminum...?
« on: December 04, 2014, 12:22:22 PM »
If you can afford it, take CF.
Head: ball quicker, not soo exact; friction head very exact, heavier.
Good luck they are interchangeable.

Lenses / Re: Bokeh: Good vs. Bad?
« on: December 02, 2014, 01:41:48 PM »
The only Bokeh I dislike is from my 70-200/2,8 with the TC 1.4.
The 135L is remarkable, the 35L, the Fujinon XF 23 1,4.
My shy 2 cents.

Lenses / Re: What 2nd bokeh lens for wedding?

For Bokeh the 35 or the 50, my personal choice would be the 35L

Canon General / Re: Does Canon really deserve this?
« on: November 22, 2014, 08:23:49 AM »
The 18MP in very much cameras- that was a real PITA.
Halfhearted mirrorless, lost the top position they had with the 5dmk2.

On the plzs side: excellent new lenses
And the radiocontrolled flashes.

Sometimes I think of Canon consisting of two different philosophies...
