EOS Bodies - For Stills / Re: 1DX Cards
« on: January 22, 2012, 07:34:30 AM »
I want to know which would be the best (speed and capacity) memory card for it?
I currently use 5d2 and 7d. Will the cards you advice work on these camera's as well?
You have the wills and wits to decided to buy 1dx.. But not the knowledge that 1dx is using CF cards (as well as your 7d&5dII)?? and need an advice on which cards? SERIOUSLY???

to think shooting video with 55mm x 1.6 (60d,7D) = 88mm, it's then would be too long and focusing at F2.0 will  also be very challenging.. If this lens worth any consideration of walkaround, it gotta be EF.

Third Party Manufacturers / Re: Nikon Shooting Themselves In The Foot

so, If my speedlight foot-mount broke, i can only send it into nikon (return timetale around 6-8weeks) instead of ordering the foot and replace by myself? That's absurd.

I can only dream when Canon has "built-in" "pocketwizard-like" into their camera. But it dont think it'll ever come within 5 yrs from now.

AMAZINGGGGG.... ur patience/skills to top notch...
I always been try to take 1 shots of the sky like how you did in 1 of 8000s pics.. would you mind to share the setting? or give a couple of advices to follow you?

i would really really like to see numbers how many pros who buy a 1D X or D4 want/need that video stuff in their cameras.

i have a lot of customers (newspaper, sport, studio) who buy the latest flagship the day it comes out. but from what they told me... the majority is not interested in video functions.

sure i can only speak for myself and my experience not for the whole market.
thats why i really love to see such survey results.
I do.
I would jump over to nikon D4 if Canon doesnt have a dslr (preferrably 5d3) with AF in video mode.

How much you want to spend?
17-40>16-35IorII>17tse>24tse .....14mm maybe too wide but i dont know how wide you would need.
