I'm curious if this camera will accept the use of a 600rt speedlight, and if the new transmitter will be somehow supported.

Why would canon reuse an old part number?
There's nothing magical about it........
........If you want great images from f/1.2 to f/2.8, the 50L is the only lens that will do it.
My advice would be that you don't really need the L lenses. If you want to dabble in primes you could try out a 50mm 1.4 for less than $400, and if you find that you really need the extra IQ/build quality of the 1.2L, you could upgrade. Same goes for the 35mm - try out the f/2 version and if you like the focal length, upgrade to the 1.4L if you feel you must.
Compatible with full frame STM lenses
I'd rather pay $2k for a mk2 version of the 1.2L that doesn't focus shift and isn't soft wide open, than $850 for a mk2 1.4
I can't wait for such a camera…
Why? Because my wife started using my 5dmk3, she fell in love with it and no longer loves her 60D….and i can't afford to buy another 5DSo…this would fit her just nice! And my wallet too..hehe
It's hard for me to figure out what others mean too when it's just reading words vs. hearing them speak
> Flash - I love using the built in flash for fill. It sometimes just needed. Again when travelling and the light just demands you filling in those faces. SO, new upgraders, do you sometimes get frustrated that the mark II doesn't have a built in flash?
