Yeah, London Drugs is just like Shoppers Drug Mart here in Canada, except London Drugs as an usually great electronics section for a drugstore.

I think the 270EX II with more power and bounce capability is a much better choice for the EOS M.
First shot right out of camera (not a great work of art!). This was a JPEG and I cropped to post here. Full manual (f 7.1; 1/200, iso 100). A bit too dark for my liking and the histogram is a bit to the left. Think I'll tweak some to the right for the future.. But, the IQ is very reasonable.
Why not put another $100ish and get new lens....I just don't get it

Sweet. This might mean lower used marked prices for the mark Is.
The beam doesn't work when using Live View/contrast detect AF on other bodies (works on the 5D3 in Live View only with AF set to "Quick"). I guess that it won't work on the M since it's always using contrast detect AF.
