BTW, we can't pre-order something.  You order it, or you don't.  Similar to sites pre-moderating your post.  Unless someone moderates the post then sends it to another moderator, then that moderator will be receiving a pre-moderated post from moderator #1. 

Just saying' as I wait for my 5d3.

I bit the bullet and ordered from Camera Canada.  The price is much more than US shops, but they include a free 16 GB CF card with the first 100 pre-orders. I would have purchased from a US store, but I suspected customs / duty would have applied, making the US price about equal to the Canadian.

Anyone know more about this stuff?

From BH it will cost you more.  I ordered from Camera Canada.  Go to BH and shop a 5d3 in to your cart, use purolater and add the duties, get the total, phone your credit card and ask the exchange.  It's not worth it, besides, why not buy it in Canada?  I'm sick of buying stuff from the USA, support the shops here, keep them open.

The bonus for me is that I'm not in Ontario, so, no PST when I buy from Camera Canada.

You get a 16gb card from Camera Canada too.  Use it or sell the card.

Yeah, interesting Canon is keeping the 5d2.  I can only assume the 5d3 must have baller AF and killer IOS vs. 5d2 to justify the 5d3 price.

3 of the 4 sellers are in the USA, lol, sh*t a$$ shopping sites. Also, the price with taxes from the USA sites are questionable, I'de NEVER trust a shopping site to be correct when it come to any import taxes.  Do those prices include brokerage fee?

Just got off the phone with them, early April and $3799 Canadian...

Buy from Camera Canada, they're giving a free 16gb card with the camera.  They told me mid to late March for delivery.  Try the link off the front page from here.  I got my 8-15 there, they seem to be a decent outfit.  I called them once, a person answered, that's with a lot to me.

why not just order it from USA?

With shipping and the 5% credit card company's BS exchange rate it's the same price.  I ordered from Canada Camera, so I don't have to pay PST (out of province) and I got a 16gb card included, so in the end it was cheaper for me to order from them vs. BH.  BH was too expensive in this case, Canada ftw.  zomg.

$1USD and $1CAD are damn close to par, but your credit card will take an exchange fee, f*ckers.
