Not much we can say about it without the correct RAW converter.

Also we are talking about 51.200 ISO !!!!!
If you expect usable images ????

Be realistic.

Yep tried it also with Rawtherapee, but the colors are not converted correct.

The browser shows better colors:

is there a version of DPP available that can handle the 5D3 raw files?

Yep....Canon has the version....
I am afraid it will not be released before the first 5D Mark III is available for sales

Now we need the raw converter..........come on Adobe.....just kidding.

I have looked at the 6400 ISO raw file and (to me) it looks much better than a 6400 ISO raw file from the 5D MK II.

Yes they are soft..

Download them and try some sharpening...
I see much more detail after this....

Well all we need is RAW files to make sure how it performs...

what was the shutter timing?
could it be that the light measurement system is sometimes partly blokked by the mirror movement?

The correct exposed where 1/400 and the over exposed where 1/200 sometimes 1/160
I would suggest the mirror movement is not blokking the measurement system.

With 5 FPS the exposure is correct all the time.
Seems to be an issue with the high burst 10 FPS

I have the 1D mark IV on a tripod and pointed to a bottle which is on the table.
Camera settings are : AV, AI SERVO an 10FPS burst and 5FPS (slow setting)

With 10 FPS I noticed that not all frames taken are exposed correctly.
With 5 FPS It seems all frames are correctly exposed.

I was wondering if it is normal that some frames are not exposed correcty with AI servo / 10 FPS combination ??

Thanks.

What happened to all the "My skills are so pimp that I just manually focus, so I don't care about AF specs" and the "Just focus and recompose" people?

Now at least they want a 999 points AF system....otherwise they jump to another brand.  :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

This is the first time in my whole life that I complain about a metering issue and people start to hate me.

haha...
I don't hate you...
It's only equipment we are talking about..

So no I will never hate someone for sharing another thought  ;)

So maybe I'm trolling.

No that's not what I think.
But I am always wondering what kind of portfolio people have who are always  complaining about AF/Meterings/etc../etc..

With all the current Canon and Nikon DSLR's you can take superb pictures.
If you can't it's not the DSLR which is failing, but it's the USER itself..

No trolling,

I meant there is nothing wrong with the AF of the Mark IV and/or the metering system.
If I have to believe this topic the AF is obsolete and the metering sucks.

This is not real and it seems that what people want in the 5D III/X :

Better AF then the Mark IV
Better Metering then the Mark IV
Better this en better that....

And abcourse it must be cheap  :( :( :( :( :(
It will not happen

Reading this topic:

AF system of MK IV is old and obsolete
Metering system from the MK IV sucks....

You must be kidding !!!!!
I cannot and will not take this topic seriously.

What a nonsense.......

@EOS 5D Mark III

I have read all your posts....
Why don't you switch to Nikon right now so we don't have to hear you complains....

Pff...
