Here's some air show pix shot with 5Diii, 70-200 2.8L II, and Canon 2x teleconverter.  Not the best lighting conditions but I was pleased with the gear.

Awesome shots Neil!  I have some Guar Gum and a set of Kenko extension tubes being delivered tomorrow and these type of water shots are just what I want to attempt.

Awesome!  Thanks for the tips about using Guar Gum and rinse aid, I'll have to try that out (if I can figure out where one can buy Guar Gum).

If it wouldn't be giving away any trade secrets, where are your strobes positioned?  +/- 90 degrees?  Are they pointed at the subject or bouncing off the background?  Any snoots/grids on the strobes?  Man, I'm nosy!

Great shot!  The camera club I'm in had a workshop that included doing a similar shot only with strawberries splashing into a clear glass bowl.  The strobes were automatically fired by a flash trigger available from http://www.hiviz.com.
