Speedlites, Printers, Accessories / 600EX-RT AF Light Assist
« on: September 18, 2013, 12:46:42 PM »
I used to have an canon 580EXII and I remeber that when I choose the central focus point the AF assist light from flash only lights the center (iluminating only the center focus point). When I choose all focus points, the AF assist light illuminates all the focus points.

Now with the 600EX it don't seems to have the same feature, if I choose only the center focus point or all focus point, the AF assist light is the same, iluminating all AF points. Is it right or I have a unit with defect?

I'm wondering how an old disposable film camera works, does it have a fixed shutter speed or does it have an photometer? I know that the lens and aperture are fixed.

25-105mm@24 | ISO 100 | 1/1000 | F/4

Large version:

I see myself using, most of the time, the AV mode, auto ISO and sometimes I manually set the ISO, lower if I have a tripod or high ISO if I want faster shutter speed...

What about you?

EOS Bodies / I know the future!

This year we will se two new bodies:

3D: High MP (40+), slow FPS...
5Dx: Low MP (22), faster FPS...

That way canon will have a product for both niche markets!  ;)
