I see myself using, most of the time, the AV mode, auto ISO and sometimes I manually set the ISO, lower if I have a tripod or high ISO if I want faster shutter speed...

What about you?

All with the old Canon PowerShot A60, 2mp, my first digital camera.

So when i take video, it looks like its in focus, and when i upload it to the computer, some clips are in focus and some aren't... is anyone else having these issues??? or is there a trick that i am missing? when i try the autofocus, it looks way out of focus, so i try to do it manually... thanks for any help

Nothing to do with your focus issue, but you should turn IS off when shooting a video  ;)
I can hear the IS noise on your video

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM

I hope they fix the espresso maker.  Having a reliable source of caffeen in the morning is essential for us professional photographers.  My 5DIII is not very good at making espresso with the current firmware.  Hope they fix it!!
Have you even put coffee in it? I thought the manual made it quite clear, but just for your benefit:

1) Make sure the lens is not mounted
2) Pour ground coffee into mirror assembly
3) Mount most expensive lens
4) Add water to battery compartment
5) Press 'SET'

Voila. This is not a firmware issue, please read more carefully in future.

Work like a charm!

Thanks for that - there is hope then. I dont live in the US but i am planning a trip with a 2 week window and this purchase is one of the reasons for the trip. I need to ensure that its instock before i buy.

buy one and choose "store pickup", they will hold it for you, but you have to pay first...

btw, adorama have it in stock right now...

Nothing is this, what it seems to be, especially when you think you make a good deal, checkt it twice and double

Very unfortunate!  The bottom line is that if it sounds to good to be true, it's most likely a scam.

That's why you have to always use something like PayPal to pay...
Wire transfer is never a good idea if you don't know who you are dealing with...

Your title reminds me of what my wife said to her friends after our first date  :D

4900 USD (without lens).

You get the new 24-70 mkII for only 3500 USD.

It's in Norway.

I can beat it easily!

I'm not kidding! I live in Brazil and here is the most expensive place in the whole world to buy things.... We still don't have it for pre-order, but just for comparision, the old 5D MK II + 24-105mm is "only" U$ 7,500.00!!!!! It is ridiculous!

You can check the price on the official Canon store:
