I'm still very pleased of 7D's quality, but I know that -H and FF beats it like 100-0. Probably looking for FF body in 1-2 years.

Pack few external hard drives with you and then you can take copy of your photos to both for making sure you got those with you if something goes wrong badly.

If 7D2 is going to be full frame so yeah going to upgrade with those rumored specs!
Well 7D to 1100D have already EF and EF-S mounts so why not?IMHO, the only way a FF sensor on 7D2 would make sense, would be If they also gave it a crop sensor mode. Something to allow current APS-C shooters with lots of EF-S lenses continue to use their glass.
that is not possible with the EF mount and EF-S lenses.... or is it?

Mmmm why not 5D3 with 100-400L, 7D and 5D3 burst rate difference is only 2fps should work just fine.

Well in my opinion Canon already have cheap FF DSLR called 5D Mark II, in here Finland 7D costs 1349€ and 5D2 costs 1799€ and 5D3 costs 3799€
( 5D2 is currently at sale normal price is 2500€ )
That' seems to be cheap DSLR at the moment, sits perfectly between 7D and 5D3 price range.
