EOS Bodies - For Stills / Re: How to differentiate crop vs. FF

Well i love wide angle so APS-C is really not my kind. Wide Aperture + wide lense doesnt match a small sensor :)

EOS Bodies - For Stills / Re: So what makes a camera a "pro" camera?

The pro camera is the one that imposes the least technical limits on your photography adventure. And just simply said the latest technology available at the moment.

Get off your high horse and read what I actually wrote. And, I don't live on a plant [sic].

I cast no judgement and expressed no opinion of the images other than to point out that with that much post processing any lens characteristics are heavily masked. That is not a contentious comment, it is a factual statement.

Post processing or not i think u can always see the character of a lens still. PP makes the shot better but not the feel. Something like that. Personally i think the more crappy a lens the more easy it is to notice the PP.

Lenses / Re: 100mm L not for portraits?
« on: January 29, 2014, 08:51:33 AM »
you cant have super awesome blurry bokeh and still have a huge area of sharpness in a photo. the only way to achieve this is by dof stacking which is tbh useless for people photography. you "could" get a big blurry background and have the kids in focus (both) if u took e.g. 300mm lens, but that also means u have to move back waaaaay more which is probably not possible indoors.
or, focus one girl first, snap + focus 2nd girl, snap + put the photo of girl 1 and girl 2 in one photo with photoshop or equal.

Modded EOS without AA filter work fine also so i dont see a problem with removing the AA filter. It would probably be another model anywayz so cool down birders....

I guess nothing happens. Perhaps a 750D with 0.02% better improvements compared to 700D

EOS Bodies - For Stills / Re: Any reason to choose a 7D over a 70D?
« on: December 23, 2013, 03:05:54 AM »
7D is better than 70D for social network posing self mirror shots. Also you get to join the 7D VIP club for hipsters who cant afford FF but it doesnt matter becuz the 7D  cuz its waaaay better and iconic and there are even pros using it for birding and so on. dont forget to add the obligatory 50mm 1.4 lens or 1.8 II (or even older manual focus lenses!) for a more minimalistic  anti capitalistic approach.  then besides mirror photographyâ„¢  u are ready for street photography in B/W. photos of homeless people especially around the xmas time where we, the rich people sit home and eat our gigantic massive meals are especially recommended (the social criticism! shame! shame!). dont forget to add film look to ur photos later. nobody has to know what camera brand u use (damn show off!) nor any infos about the working conditions of the people producing it.

perhaps a retro neo hipster camera will come out that looks like the 7D. tbh i dont think anything really big will happen.
