What is an opstacle to make it 0.6 or 0.7?

The biggest obstacle would be the price for selling it. The 0.95 lens we have today costs about 10000$. 0.6 would be like..100.000$ or maybe more :P Whos gonna buy that for a 4/3 system? ^^ And enjoy the 1/8000 or faster shutter speed you will need if you use it wide open in the sun outside. Permanent ND filter needed indoors probably :P And i dont wanna even think how shallow the DOF would be. Eyeball in focus, eyelashes blurry much :P

Im not smart. Whats the difference if we had such a sensor technology already used today? Please tell me in easy to understand words.

Old but gold literally :)

I'm just jealous I can't afford the 85L, but can get the exact same shot with my 70-200 L f/4....

So? I heard people that got the pulitzer prize award have used cameras which are totally stoneage technology compared to todays digital world. Does it make a difference? no.
Getting a good shot is not about the lens u have.  Anyway the president is not a model and doesnt want to be presented like that :P Its all about good documentary photos not more not less. Camera settings also look a lot like typical studio settings. Bokeh doesnt make crappy picture awesome its just the distorted view of many people thinking a photo looks great when there is so much bokeh present...

EOS Bodies / Re: Older Canon cameras

I got an old film EOS for my EF lenses, cost like 15 Euro and does the job well.
For anything older id probably get a m42 camera. Spotmatic, Memotron, MTL5 etc.
At the momente im trying to get a somewhat cheap 6x6 or 6x4.5
U can also check around for an old Rangefinder camera (there is not only Leica) that might be something different :)

EOS Bodies / Re: New Rebel T4i vs 60d/7D

I would just get the Rebel in your case. Upgrading from APS-C to another APS-C doesnt make things different much. Just save ur money til u can a "real" FF upgrade. 7D i only suggest it if u need the high FPS. Next level from Rebel is 6D imho. An upgrade should be a real difference not a different body material and button layout. Fullframe is more different noise wise, lens FOV wise etc.

Same here in germany. Imho it has nothing to do with the education level. Some people just cant even speak their native tongue properly.

Im still in doubt if its really that simple as just putting an inversed magnifying glass on the sensor while mainting the same image quality.

Why you need new Canon sensors like every year? If they pump out something awesome every 5 years im down with that. Would be crap if my new FF purchase would be blown away by next years release.

EOS Bodies / Re: EOS not good for NASA?

I guess they asked several companies, compared prices and then stuck with Nikon cuz it was cheapest.
Anyway who cares what brand some people in space are using? Does it even matter as long as they get usable photos? Probably the guy who shoots the photos is just a Nikon user anyway thats why he got that camera on board.

Canon General / Re: Hey Canon, I've got cash to burn, but...

So just get 6D. Better shadow noise performance and you can change the focussing screen. What about putting 1.4xtender on your 70-200? or 135L with extender.
