Technical Support / Lightroom Import Setting

Is there anyway to import photo with lightroom 4 and view just the way i see in DPP and in camera.
after importing with lightroom the photos became darker and less vibrant, and it takes many efforts to adjust.

i am using Lightroom 4.1 CR2, and 5D Mkiii.

EOS Bodies - For Stills / 5D MK III + Phottix Odin Issue.

My Odin is not working with my 5D MKIII., Tested with both 580EXII and 430 EXII
there are 2 problems

1. Zoom is not working at all, in ettl mode, i zoom the lens in, the flash will not zoom with it.  In manual mode  I adjust zoom range in Odin Screen, the flash head will not zoom either.

2. there are 20% of the time the Flash will trigger bit slower, the picture comes out dark. There are 10% of time flash will not trigger at all (flash is ready during the test) and i tested with 1/50 - 1/4000

Firmware is up to 1.08 on both Odin Transmitter and Receiver.

Does anyone know why is this happening? is it the hardware issue or firmware issue?

EOS Bodies - For Stills / 5D MKIII Auto Focus Question

My 5D MkIII can not archive focus on subject that has solid color with light distributed evenly on the surface. example the walls, i tried this on all my walls with different colors, green, coffee, white, the test i did was during the day, with enough light.
my pink cabinet, powered off monitor screen, etc.

I must move the focus point to some place that have color difference like edges in order to achieve focus.

my 60D is more successfully achieving focus on these situations on the monitor screen and pink cabinet.

is it the same with your camera?

EOS Bodies - For Stills / 5DIII minimum shutter speed is not working

The Minimum shutter speed is not working on my 5D.
I set it to for example minimum 1/250,
i will shoot with, auto iso. AV mode. F4 (same with P mode)
the camera will still take picture at speed slower than 1/250 like 1/50

anyone know who does this work?

Technical Support / CF SD Read Speed VS Photo Import Speed Problem!

I have a Transcend 16GB Class 10 SD, When testing with Crystal Disk Mark,
Read speed is 27MB/s
when i am downloading photo from card i will get about 25MB/s

I have a Transcend 32GB 400x CF card, when testing with Crystal Disk Mark
Read speed is 80MB/s
but when i am downloading photo, i can only reach max 3MB/s
anyone know why is this happening?

I am using same USB 3.0 Transcend card reader for both test and downloads.
and when i say downloading photo, i am using copy from card, paste to desktop.

Does anyone know what caused this issue?
