A miracle happened and my order was changed from backordered to a tracking number... right after I spoke to a representative from B&H telling me they don't know when the next shipment is coming. Wednesday is play day!

what was your order number? I feel like a 5 years old kid waiting for Santa....

I wonder to which group you belong.. The ones that do not know anything and post the best they can do, or the ones that knows a lot and don't need to show it off? Usually knowledgeable people don't go around showing it off.. Knowledge usually comes with experience, experience comes with time, and with time people learn to respect others..  Even if they are not as good as you..... think you are...

Just got an email from B&H, my 1DX web order 10198871xx (3/14/12 ~2:30pm eastern) has shipped

Has the shipping info been updated?
On 7/4 my info said shipped, but the tracking info only has the Origin scan and nothing else.  Is it actually en route?

UPDATE 7/7 AM:
MY order was in fact picked up from B/H by UPS on 7/4, but they were 'closed' for the holiday so not actually processed until 7/5, and it is now officially en route (Philadelphia) for a Pittsburgh delivery.  Somewhat frustrating that I paid for NEXT Day air and it won't come for 5 days later.  I didn't pay for next 'business' day, and if I did, that should still have been 7/6 not 7/9.  Anyways, what's 5 days when we have been waiting 7 months since announcement....

Order 1019920xxx so who know when I will get mine.... Hopefully before I spen the money on something else....

FWIW, I was just told the following by B&H:

We are expecting for them to arrive by the end of the week and your order will be covered in this shipment...It appears that the Canon sent our initial order in multiple shipments and you will be covered on this one that is coming in now.

I was just told the same thing; I was also told that I would not make the initial allotment, and they expect their second shipment to come sometime next week. My question is, do you think that the smaller local shops have gotten their first shipments in two batches as well? If so, there's still a chance I can get one by this weekend from one of the other stores with whom I've placed a pre order.

So then is just matter of luck to get someone to tell you anything? Third time I try... And always get the same...mi know nothing..l we can not tell.....

No problem at all with my 5D MKIII, very happy with the AF, it even made the 85 L 1.2 II feel like a brand you machine, not it is fast focusing... which was horrible on the MKII

Live chatted with B&H today, they have no way of giving priority to CPS platinum members unfortunately, but I was told I am high on the list with an order # xxxxx86xxx ending with low numbers
They suggested possible delivery by my next project, June 28.    One can only hope

You where lucky, the representative I chatted with told me is against company policy to give such information. And there is no priority other than your place on the cue which won't discuss either 

I preordered the morning or the 13th, so I hope I'm not to down on the cue.
