Here's a post from my recent motion work with the MK iii. This is the first installment of a mini-doc series, titled "Picture Book". Lens combo was Canon 50mm f/1.4 and a Canon 100mm Macro f/2.8.The series will be updated every month and published on my website, lkfilms.com

Brief:

A series of short micro-docs, “Picture Book“ is a collection of real images / shots / sounds that are put together to form a narrative. Each Picture Book chapter, posted every month on LKFilms.com, pertains to its own story and exploration through the world of imagery and true-life characters in a super short, at times even abstract, form. Whether the darkest corners of loneliness, or the warmest nooks of childhood, Picture Book is an expression of the past, where we can move through our memories as we might remember them: the sounds, textures, images and, ultimately, the feelings that never truly leave us.

Been awhile since I've been on the forum. Last time was several months ago, when my MK iii came in the mail. What have I been doing since then? Well, I just recently updated a new stills portfolio, shot completely on the MK iii, to show you just that. Examples range from documentary to commercial shooting. Hope you enjoy. EOS Bodies / 5D Mark III Arrived Today!

I was one of the unlucky sobs that ended up getting stuck on the infamous Back Order list while waiting for my Mark III kit to come.  Got an email the other day from my sales rep. at B&H saying that we were finally good for shipment (wait was nearly a month). Not sure where I set in regards to the list, but its doubtless that the things are being shipped out in high gear after such a wait time. So, for those of you who bought through B&H (or other spots for that matter), and haven't received it yet, rest assured, this thing is on its way to your eyeballs.
