Thanks ions

These were taken with my T2i and Tamron 90 mm macro.  I tend to grab that camera whenever I want to take a few quick shots.  I own the non-L 100 mm but I think the Tamron is a very good lens as well.  In fact, it's been the only lens mounted on my T2i for probably 2 years.

Yeah, the sunlight was pretty harsh and I should've compensated for it.  I'm still learning :)

GODZILLA?  OK, maybe not, but I think I heard the cricket chirp that before he became lunch.

I believe someone mentioned in another thread that you can downgrade back to 1.2.5 firmware using an older version of the EOS utility 2.09 or 2.10.

A few more from my collection.  They were enjoying the late summer sun. ;)

I love kayaking, especially on a calm lake on a bright sunny day.  Here's a couple of shots I took yesterday to help get through the cold dark winter that's right around the corner.

Here's a captive bred pet of mine.  You can buy all sorts of stone decorations and plastic hides, but Dottie is more than happy with her empty paper towel roll.  Can't you tell?

How do you respond to the following compliment: Hey, that's a nice photo, you must have an expensive camera.  It's a compliment in that they like your photo enough to comment on it, but it seems like they are giving all the credit to the equipment used and none to the person behind it.

Here's another one from today.  Too bad the twigs are in the way :(

Ok, I wandered back out in the woods this afternoon and took this photo:

I think it's an improvement.  All comments good and bad are welcome.

Thanks to all that replied.  I'm still learning and appreciate the tips :)
