I have 5Diii and love it. Those above are replies for the critics: touch the reality before opening the mouths!

EOS Bodies / Re: DxOMark Sensor Performance: Nikon vs. Canon

I encourage everyone to let Canon know of your disappointment with their recent sensor performance (compared to the competition).  http://usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer

Thanks for the link. I let them know how thrilled I am with the 1D X sensor performance.  Acceptable ISO 12800, and 25600 usable at need...simply awesome!!
I have pics that taken in ambient light of a church with 5DMKiii @ around ISO 20000 (I used Auto ISO in M mode). They are usable in 4x6 format. My friend with D800 was there but couldnt do that. As far as DxOMark said, D800 is the top of FF camera. Can other Nikons do that? LOL.

Yes, Kenkos are good. I have all 3 of them with 100mmL f/2.8.

Software & Accessories / Re: who uses Focal or similar?

I have Focal Pro. After doing AFMA to my 50D and 5DMKiii with my lenses, I compared pics before and after. I couldnt believe my eyes; they were different. Especially with 5DMKiii as it has Wide AFMA and Tele AFMA for zoom lenses. Focal Pro really works.

People talking a bout B&W and Hoya. I use Tiffens and Canons, are they good, Neuro?

Not as good as B+W and the high end Hoya filters.  Canon UV are actually OEM'd by Tiffen. I wouldn't use them.
Thanks! Neuro.

To make it clear, there is no new Nikon sensor. They are Sony sensors in Nikon cameras. One of my friends cried with me last night that his Sony A900's mirror fell out so he has to let it sleep. Sony's technology !!!

EOS Bodies - For Stills / Re: 5DIII minimum shutter speed is not working
« on: September 23, 2012, 02:58:00 PM »
Thanks VON. I was confused of it.

Regardless of how good the 1DX sensor is, it is still slightly behind the Nikon D4:

"The performance of the two cameras is similar, but from ISO 6400 upwards the Nikon D4 is the winner by a little margin: I'd say that it has about 0.5 stop better high ISO performance than the 1DX; the D4 shows a little more noise and it has a more easy to remove, fine granulated noise."
Take another look at http://www.imaging-resource.com/IMCOMP/COMPS01.HTM
We'll see that at high ISO the black in Nikon's images shift to red while Canon's maintain.
But it's not a big deal as rarely high ISOs are used. It's just a technical fact.

Software & Accessories / Re: What are most people using for processing RAW
« on: September 22, 2012, 01:27:44 AM »
Ive been ugrading from CS2 to CS5 and now CS6. I can tell ACR of each CS is different, the latter the better and more effective. I tried LR4 and DDP before CS6 but didnt like it.

Canon General / Re: How many of us are making money out of photography ?
« on: September 20, 2012, 01:19:28 AM »
More than $10k for Canon just for love, not a penny back. Have full time job not relating to photography. LOL.

5D MKiii price drops? I bought one at 3,499.00 in June and love it. I will sell my old 50D to get another 5D MKiii. LOL.
