I have Focal Pro. After doing AFMA to my 50D and 5DMKiii with my lenses, I compared pics before and after. I couldnt believe my eyes; they were different. Especially with 5DMKiii as it has Wide AFMA and Tele AFMA for zoom lenses. Focal Pro really works.

People talking a bout B&W and Hoya. I use Tiffens and Canons, are they good, Neuro?

Not as good as B+W and the high end Hoya filters.  Canon UV are actually OEM'd by Tiffen. I wouldn't use them.

I almost canceled 5DMKiii's pre-order when was reading a lot of complaints on this forum. Fortunately, I didnt and now am very satisfied with it. So, post complaint after it's yours and you are familiar with it. Dont utter after just hearing. LOL,

To make it clear, there is no new Nikon sensor. They are Sony sensors in Nikon cameras. One of my friends cried with me last night that his Sony A900's mirror fell out so he has to let it sleep. Sony's technology !!!

Regardless of how good the 1DX sensor is, it is still slightly behind the Nikon D4:

Take another look at http://www.imaging-resource.com/IMCOMP/COMPS01.HTM
We'll see that at high ISO the black in Nikon's images shift to red while Canon's maintain.
But it's not a big deal as rarely high ISOs are used. It's just a technical fact.

Ive been ugrading from CS2 to CS5 and now CS6. I can tell ACR of each CS is different, the latter the better and more effective. I tried LR4 and DDP before CS6 but didnt like it.

5D MKiii price drops? I bought one at 3,499.00 in June and love it. I will sell my old 50D to get another 5D MKiii. LOL.

Yea really. I don't get all the 7D and 5D MK II owners who want this badly. That'd be like an upgrade from the 50D to 60D. I actually think going from 7D to MK II isn't an upgrade either. Better low light and more MP really. I own the T2i,a nd am saving for a MK III.

Yes, you are doing the right thing: put 5D MKiii in your dream. It was in my dream and now the dream comes true. It's very very worth it, 5D MKiii.

As far as I remember, people complained 5D MKiii a lot when it was just released, then it becomes a hit.
Now people are complaining the 6D.
Anyone give 5D MKiii a wow? I do because I have one. LOL

Yes, only 1 Canon glass is missing: 14-24mm. Im sitting on kitchen range awaiting it. Pocket is ready but item not seen yet!
