Do what you want but imho I appreciate you sharing that you did 'shop' it instead of trying to pull it off as an in camera sky.

Reviews / Re: Why I Chose a Canon EOS 6D over a 5D MKIII

I held a 6D, a friends, in my hands for the first time yesterday. Nice but a bit small for my hands. I did like how it was pretty much exactly like a 5D3 and if I didn't have such big mitts I would have gone for one.

IN CAMERA! It's all about getting it as best as can be in camera. Post………go ahead and rely on post, if you like that sort of thing.

They are only good for photographing books at a distance. Otherwise get a Nikon.

I find the 7D wheel to be somewhere in between the 5D3 and the EOS 3. Solid but with a bit of a click. The 3 has a loud click but doesn't feel like true engineering plastic (age) and the 5D3 is solid but a muted click. Both are great cameras and the 7D is no slouch either, I mean that in terms of body construction.

EOS Bodies / Re: Buy 1DX now or wait for an upgrade?

Ok, let me get this straight…..a 7k camera without a lens just for shooting 'books'? And you are bummed the crummiest lens in the lineup won't work with it?

How about meeting this issue halfway? Get a 6D and a few amazing pieces of glass. You'll have a couple grand left over for  getting your boat repainted.

That is going to be one long wait.

I'm very happy with my Tamron 70-200 Di VC.

Is this the new one?  If so very curious as to your thoughts on the lens.
In a nutshell I have ZERO complaints. Great contrast, color rendition, fast AF, 3-4 stops VC (IS) I feel like I got the Canon flagship 70-200 for 600 less and it's black.

If they can do it with a 35 why not with a 135 that's faster? It will be my next lens if it comes out in the next 6-9 months.

I would like to comment on my dust hog comment. True my post was from a limited experience. One lens. Used during a semester at school. However even with a filter I had many issues. Enough to make me sell the glass and not want to gamble with another copy. You say what you know, what you experience, it doesn't necessarily make it 'wrong' if you do not have that same experience.
