Why not keep 5D3 and replace your zoom lenses with prime lenses? You can keep 24-105 F/4 as well if you are comfortable with it. Prime lenses like 24/35, 50, 85/135 will fill your focal range nicely for much less weight.

One more rant about 'ad free'.  If you look at the Help page, you'll notice that the Ad Free account, for $50 per year, includes:

• No ads in your browsing experience

However, the Pro account includesd:

• Ad-free browsing and sharing

By having a Pro account, people whom I directed to my pages were not subjected to ads.  That's not going to be the case with the double-the-cost Ad Free account - for your $50/year, you won't see ads, but anyone who follows a link to one of your images will. 

So, IMO this thread should have been titled, "Flickr is now 1 Terabytes Advr!! For (almost) everyone!!"  If their plans for Tumblr are any indication, it won't be long before the ads go from a sidebar to interspersed with your images.  No real surprise - ad revenue is where the money is, Yahoo is a publicly held company, and it's all about the revenue.

Key question (albeit probably deserving of a separate thread) - SmugMug or Zenfolio?

Ha ha.. I can see now how it is a downgrade for Pro account holders..  I still like the new look though.
Lets see how Yahoo (not) screw up Tumblr!

You get a TB of total storage space. But you are maxed out at 300MB of uploads a month for the free account. You'll never reach a TB...

I think they have removed monthly 300 MB limit. Its just total 1TB space now.

Flickr just got changed.. One, it looks awesome now. Two, everyone now has 1 Terabyte of space!!!!!

Silent shutter in 5D3 is achieved with the help a mechanical damper. Software has nothing to do with it other than activating it. If you are sure that there is no difference between silent shutter and normal, you might want to get your camera checked by Canon.

this is a common misconception.

No, it's not. At 0.71x magnification 100% coverage viewfinder will be bigger than 97% coverage viewfinder. 6D and 5D3 both has 0.71x magnification viewfinders. APS-C cameras have smaller magnification, 7D, for example, has 0.63x, 50D has 0.59x.

+1 for 15-85 or 17-55 f/2.8

If you are low on budget, you can try Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC Macro as well. It might not be as sharp as Canon 15-85 but then again it is $300 cheaper, a stop faster and has Macro capabilities.
