http://www.dxomark.com/Cameras/Compare/Side-by-side/Sony-A7S-versus-Canon-EOS-5D-Mark-III-versus-Nikon-D800E___949_795_814I am waiting see real world pictures, dxo rates the d800 at approximately 2900 which any one who has seen the files knows its not that good at high ISO. I think the a7s will be amazing 12800 or slightly higher
DxO give it a low light score of 3702, which bests the 1DX (2786) and 6D (2340). Not unsurprising given the much lower MP of the sensor.
Is the A7s now the king of low light photography?
I have the same problem with the 5D mk II & 50/f1.4. I bought Focal or lenscal awhile back and tried to do the AFMA adjustment with my computer. one surprising thing is how hard it is to get enough of the correct lighting in your living room. The result wasn't much better. ive even just gone outside and adjusted it manually in camera and taken shots to see which appears the most in focus. Even that really didn't solve the focus problem. but now it is better than the back focusing I had when I put the center dot on the subject. One solution is to buy the 50 art lens. but I liked having something more compact and small. the other solution would be to send it to canon PS. but I think it just needs a new homeOn my 5d mark II it's the same, the center point is golden, the rest not so much
