Lenses / 70-200 f2.8 MkI & Mk II and Extenders

Dear all of you,
anyone who use extenders with 70-200 f2.8 IS USM Mk I or Mk II?

I am evaluating to buy one of them listed but probably Mk I is out of production, right?
And, an extender delivers good image quality on this lense?

Lenses / 50mm: Wich one?

hello to all!
I have the 50 1.8 and I am considering an upgrade to the 1.4 version.
Can you give me some examples in which one is better than the other? (IQ, not USM, built, etc)

Version 1.4 is sharper? Bokeh?

Lighting / 7D + Cullmann D 4500-C

Hi everybody!

I have got the Cullmann D 4500-C but it seems not working if attached on my 7D: are they compatible?
MY dad bought it some years ago with 300D and it was pretty good..my question is... may I change it to recive the best results from my camera?

I found at home on an old Tamron a filter by Hoya - SKYLIGHT 1B. I don't know this model, can anyone tell me it's story?
Isn't it a good filter for digital?

Lenses / Protective filter [for Canon 15-85]

I have ordered the Canon 15-85, which protective filter do you suggest? Do I need one slim in order to "fight" vignetting?

I am oriented to HOYA Pro1 digital, is it slim enought?

Lenses / Rumors about general porpouses lenses for APS-C

Dear all of you,
I am a 7D owner and I am waiting to deal for a new lens, a stadard one like 15-85 ("f/ is not good" bla bla bla) but I need one compact for trips.

Do you think that Canon will develop any new lenses for new APS-C rumored bodies in the near future?
If not I'll make a Christmas present with ol'15-85.

Lenses / 70-200 f/2.8 USM: why not mkII?

Hello everybody!

I was wondering why Canon is not replacing 70-200 f/2.8 with an MK II. The first version is dated 1995, right (?) and till now nothing just "only" 70-200 IS USM and MK II..... "only"!

I want to buy the non-IS version but I hope for a MK II: why Canon has not replaced it jet?
Will it be replaced..........?
