I had numbers like that and even smaller on my first 1DX but have a couple of double digits on my replacement 1DX. Would be interested to see others AFMA #'s

I meant that I would like to see your +/- #'s for each of your lenses. I just got a replacement 1DX and some of my AFMA's are almost off the chart.

So I am setting up the replacement 1DX i received today. On the previous 1DX, I only had to calibrate 2 lenses. the 85L needed +4 and the 24L needed +5. With the new 1DX I am at +17 on the 24L and +12 on the 85L. I needed to give the 135L +4. which required 0 on the last. I know each camera is difference but should the AF be that far off? Maybe i am just being way to picky but would hate to think that the camera took a big jolt during shipping...

Thanks to this site and Matt at Norman Camera, I have a new 1DX coming... I will get it and try it for the next few days. If all goes fine, I will send the other one back to BH within my RMA terms.

This is one of those "what would you do?" questions.
I have a new 1DX that has showed Err 80 about 9 times. 6 the day after I got it, and 3 a few days after. It has not showed it once since. I have an open RMA with BH Photo and they are willing to exchange but they will only order the new one only when this one returns. They did say I would go to the front of the list though since it was a replacement due to defect. I have until the end of this week to send it in. They have also agreed to a return for full credit if I can buy one from somewhere else.
I am leaving town 8/11 and need it, so sending it to BH and waiting for a replacement is not going to happen. Only option I see is keeping and hoping that CPS will be good about this or finding a new one from another store, buying and then returning the one I have to BH. Who's to say that another new one wouldn't give me more issues than this one though? Does anyone even know of a reputable dealer that has a recent shipment in with 1 to spare?

I just bought the 135 f/2 2 weeks ago and it is my new favorite lens. I am very particular about "sharp" images and the 135 is insanely sharp. I would have to be very convinced to give it up for a new version.

My exact thoughts... with my luck, I would get the new one and have twice the issues.

I have used the camera a bit more over the past few days and not had Err 80 at all. Even with the 85L. BH is willing the take the camera back but they will not re-order for me until the current one is returned and then I will be placed at the top of the line... My issue is that I leave for 3 weeks starting Aug 11 and there is no way that the new one will be back. I guess this will limit me to dealing with CPS...

I hope other CPS members are having. Better luck than I. I emailed them Monday and received a response that the contacts on my 85L must be dirty and that was the reason for the error. I informed them that this was a brand new lens and I knew of plenty others with the same error with this combo. I then received this email

I broke in the high speed shutter this past monday. Shot every lens in my lineup except the 85L and no errors.. I mounted the 85L yesterday and got Err 80 2 times.
So far I have only received the error with the 85L. I have emailed CPS but have yet to receive a response.

An update... I shot yesterday with multiple lenses and did not get the error. Coincidentally, I did not shoot with the 85L that I received the error with the other day.

I shot my first 300 frames with my brand new 1DX and a new 85LII today and had err80 appear 6 times telling me to power down camera and reinsert the battery back. I am using Sandisk Extreme Pro 32gb cards.
Anybody else seeing this. Someone on POTN board seems to think its temp/humidity related. I live is S Florida...
