thanks I have some kinda sharp images but I am not sure if they could be sharper, my K5 just seems sharper.
I will look into focus adjustments.

I didn't use a cable I don't have one.

Here is another one I took today does it seem sharp?

HI guys I picked up a 7D and a 400mm 5.6 but I am having trouble getting sharp images. I also have a Pentax K5 and have no problems getting tact sharp with that.

for example here is a bird pic I took today I over exposed it because I was told to with the 7d to fix noise and such.  I croped it a bit to lower the image size.

the settings I used was ISO320, 400mm, f5.6, 1/250 and I was using a tripod.

Lenses / Buying a used canon 500 F4
« on: August 15, 2012, 01:15:13 PM »
Hello everyone I am in talks with a guy to buy a 500 f4 I would trade it for my 400 5.6 + cash for $3900 he says its in perfect condition and comes with everything. Is this a good deal?

What should I look for when checking the lens?

thanks

EOS Bodies / 7D question

Hey guys I just picked up a used 7D to go along with my K5 great camera was just wondering is there a way to zoom in on a picture right away on the last picture taken or do you have to always hit the play button then zoom in.

thanks

I am a Pentax user and I am looking at Nikon or canon for wildlife work. I have to say from using a 7D its has one of the worst control setups of any camera. If anyone has used a K7 or K5 you would be much happier you can think about taking good pics instead of fighting with the camera. Unless you need fast AF then pentax is behind in that.
