EOS Bodies - For Video / my new hero3 black, why is it better then my 7D?

so for Christmas i received a hero 3 black.
it does 240FPS at 820x480
120FPS in 720P
60FPS in 1080P

why is it so much faster then my 7D?
can the 7D be hacked to do more then 240FPS?

Lenses / whats up with my focus?

this is my 7D with a tameron 10-24.
why is the focus so far off?
does my camera hate this lens?

Third Party Manufacturers / 4K 15 FPS

is 15 fps in 4K worth anything? or will it be all choppy?
looking at the gopro3 and thats the top resolution for video.
i am just thinking cropping that down to 1080P would get rid of some of the fish eye factor that these cameras display.
the other option is 2.7K at 30 fps.

5D mk2 or 6D?
pricing should be about the same, and i want to go full frame.

Lenses / my second lens?

i have 1000 to spend.
i have the 7D good kit lense now.
i dont shoot anything special, many landscapes, and photos of my dogs.
i cannot stand the slow focus and having to switch off autofocus on the current lens.
i may sell my current lens for $500 if 1500 would get my the best lens.
thanks for any input.
