Just wanted to point out that the canon 24-70mm 2.8L II is currently $2015 shipped and sold by amazon. Its $2099 minus an instant 4% with the current promotion. This is the lowest price I have ever seen for it not on ebay and in new condition. Put it on a cash back credit card and you can get this lens for under 2k!

Just doing my part by posting this. If you are a student or teacher and need lightroom 4. Check out the current deal on amazon for the student and teacher version, shipped and sold by amazon.com. It is out of stock but I just got mine backordered at 32.99. To me the savings is worth the wait to get it back in stock. Sure it won't be too long.

Lenses / MRC or single coating for 10 stop ND

Hi all. I have been wondering if I need MRC on a 10 stop B+W ND filter. The price difference is 60 bucks more than the single coating. At 10 stops of light reduction, is it worth the extra expense?

EOS Bodies / 5dIII hot pixel question

Hi all. I just upgraded from my 20d to a 5dIII. I love it but today I noticed a bright red dot in a picture without enlarging the picture. I went back and enlarged others around the same spot and could find the dot again at all ISO's.. even at 100. I just did a 30 second exposure at 800 ISO with the lens cap on and I got this.

Now I expect a couple bad pixels but I can count about 12 spots and some spots have way more than just 1 bad pixel I believe. I tried the manual cleaning trick multiple times for up to 4 minutes and I still have atleast 10 spots and it seems to not be improving so I stopped. Is this average or did I get a lemon? Also adobe camera raw fixes about 2/3rds of them but definitely not all now that I know where to look. I have 23 more days to return it to amazon. Thanks guys for your help.
