Thanks! I like how you tested the lens for chromatic aberration with those images. This lens is a great addition to anyone's lens collection.

Is it safe to buy a new DSLR the first day it comes out, or is it likely to have some defects because it's from the first batch?

Actually, the event starts at 2pm in Shanghai so if there's a 12 hour difference from Eastern time, then it hasn't even started yet. It should start in about 1 hour.
