I can line up the 5Diii tests this week if you guys are interested.
Thanks for the feedback and please keep the questions coming- Ill test as much as I can fit into a good video.

Would like to see if theres any different in video sharpness 6D vs MarkIII and is it possible to add sharpening in post like for Mark3. Thanks.

Michael, thank you for nice review. Great ISO performance, +1 for 6D, because I already started  considering 6D vs 5D mark3, but I do want lighter camera, control with one had + wifi (especially hopes that wifi will be working with video in future). I heard some talks around, that 6D sharper in video mode than mark3, and thats why it have more moire. From your test have you seen any difference? Thank you.

More pessimistic after yesterday video tests announced, but at least more reviews and tests coming soon, that will help to decide.

I hear the video quality is more on par with the Mark 2.

In addition what I just found out today and made my cry is that the Canon 6D cannot be controlled over Wifi for shooting video. Thats too bad because that was what I really hoped for.

Canon - why ? On the manual page 15 it says - when Wifi is enabled movie shooting is disabled

I guess I get the Mark 2 or Mark 3 instead. Just not sure if the Mark 3 is worth the money over the Mark 2. . .
That was one of the biggest advantages for me considering 6D: Wifi + video -> like external monitor android smartphone or tablet+ similar video quality like MarkIII, but now I even don't know what to say. Also I think Its to early to make conclusion only from one test. Maybe results from final product will be better.

I feel like when first time was waiting for my first DSLR (Canon 550d/T2i) with big, big expectations three years ago, counting every day until release. Now I have exactly the same situation...   and cant wait to see first review and photo/video samples comparison.

Theres still no official price, but only speculation, so its too early to panic, but even if pricing tag 1300£< , theres one more good option Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 VC. Video took me in to the DSLR 3 years ago, not photo, but after some time photography took place in my hobby at same level.

Canon 24-70mm f4
+ macro capability (I was really considering 100mm f2.8 macro before)
+ 600g (tamron 825g)
+ weather proof and build quality (tamron only dust)
+ hybrid stabilization (good not only for macro option, but also video, thats for me 1st priority)
+ focus and zoom ring should be much better for manual use.

- f/4
- if! high price tag

~ and image quality still under the question

Before I was thinking, that upgrade to Full Frame will be never achievable for me and was searching upgrade for 550D, but now because of this news I considering FullFrame. Not only because of all Full-Frame advantages, but also because theres many good new lenses, which much better compatible with full-frame.
