Ford vs. Chevy

Nikon vs. Canon

5DMK3 owners feeling inferior to the non-owning 1DX owners ....

What next? The p&S owners claiming the 5DMK3 IS TOO BIG?

I think a lot of 5DMK3 owners, whining about Canon 1 series, need to shoot Olympus. I've heard of being pussy footed ..... but never pussy handed.  ???

The 1 series in NOT that heavy!

"Our Flagship model 1DX".

If its Canons "Flagship", then why is Canon adding more megapixels?

Shouldn't a "Flagship" cover all aspects if possible??

I thought the 1 series covered all aspects of photography as much as possible with the technology at hand?

They havent even delivered on their 1DX promise and already, there seems to be something better for landscape photographers?  >:(

Seems everyone should know what it will or will not do before one could say what they would pay for it.  :-\

Wow. If this is true, I think canon needs to have a very serious look at its internal and external PR/communications set up. I like this site, but something as serious as a delay that could be until September, needs to be handled by professional PR people who are paid by or work for canon. Instead they remain quiet. That shocks me more than the delays.
Couldnt be said better!

If I were you, I just wouldnt buy the 1DX ... & IF YOU ALREADY PRE-ORDERED IT, CANCEL IT!
.... being as it is you already know it doesnt meet your level of perfection.

I'll let you know when the firmware fix makes it worth having ... k?  ;)

Just don't make promises you cant deliver on time, Canon!

In the trash can.

99% of the people using watermarks have a grossly inflated idea of what their pictures are worth. I've found an inverse relationship between the size of watermarks and the quality of pictures. The bigger and more predominate the watermark, the crappier the image.
99%  ??? ... Thats a bit extreme.

Lower right hand corner ... otherwise, put it where you want it. Its YOUR work/art.

Chances are ... 2014 ... with Canons history.

I'm starting to think (IF this turns out to be true) that now might not be the best time to buy a $6,800 body.

Maybe Canon's quality control & production facilities aren't what they should be since the Earthquake.  :o

Exactly!  This really frustrating as they keep annoucing stuff but dont deliver on what has been annunced already.

This is my biggest problem with Canon. Stop the hype & quit putting the horse before the carriage!
Canon, you're getting a lot of flak because of sensationalizing your flagship before you can produce it.

EOS Bodies / EOS Bodies - The ultimate duo & why

Whats your idea of the perfect combo of EOS bodies?

I like the 7D because I shoot a lot of sports in the water. The size of the 7D is much easier to handle compared to a 1 series in a water housing.

Topside, I wish I had a 1 series sometimes ... but the 5DMKII does a superb job at everything that doesnt move fast.

Cant help but wonder how my relationship with my 5DMKII will be affected when the 5DMKII is available.

I just dont see myself parting ways with the 7D anytime soon .... especially when new models are rumored to have the same AF system.
