LR noise reduction in comparison to DPP

I've found in my personal experience that Neuro is exactly right - it depends on the photo.  I've done a bunch of side-by-side testing between ACR, DPP, and Imagenomic's photoshop plug-in, and which one I perfer tends to vary by the image.

so at the end of the day, I've given up on worrying about minute differences in favor of just having a consistent workflow.

why are you underexposing?   50% of the file data is in the top 1/5th of the highlight end of the image.
