When does this go into effect?  I'm asking before griping that it looks like the same pricing . . .

I received the e-mail, and went looking at sale items.  Most of the Camera sales were for Nikon Refurbs.
I'm sure that their deals on accessories, but Killer deals will only appear for a few hours.  Last year, the really good deals hit the following Tuesday.

I just looked at a few items and they were all regular prices (the same as the last several weeks with the rebates).

I think that CR trusts their normal vendors; let's reserve early judgement and see if they come through . . . Adorama aren't just normal internet jerk wads, they do have deals.  Maybe this was all premature.

It's not as bad now; The whole D600/D800 had five people that were literally thread-jacking every other post.

I think they moved over to slashdot where they try to get an apple-related thread on the front page every 12 hours to incite riot  ;D

Amazon UK are doing Black Friday deals this week but not a lot of camera gear there. They had a 650d for £438.32 yesterday which has an additional £50 Canon cashback so works out at £388.32. Sold out in seconds though.

They have the Manfrotto 190 XPROB More Tripod at 4pm today
