Ugh, they sold out before I got to them.  Anyone know of any other opportunity to get in at that pricepoint, either through them or someone else?  I'm not even seeing them used for that cheap!

Wow...  That's only $400 more than the 6D will be...  Too bad I live in Canada - I've been waiting for the 6D, but I would have jumped on that if I could.

Wow.  That was posted here at 7:39 in the morning on Black Friday, and it was reported "SOLD OUT" within just about an hour?

I may need to watch the computer constantly whilst working on "Cyber Monday".  I am certain my boss would not mind?

interesting indeed.  so i guess all the fear regarding MAP (min adv price) was all for nothing.  doesn't seem to apply to ebay which is nice!

also loving the new sub $3k price point for the mkIII.  let the customers vote with their wallet!

Actually, MAP has had a very noticeable effect.  It's prevented authorized sellers from offering these steep deals.  Bigvalue is not an authorized seller so they can sell at whatever price point they choose.

I have a 800mm and it seems to work okay with my 5D III.  I've not sent it in to Canon as it seems to function normally.  I've heard of some issue with the IS and 5D III, but not sure I am experiencing any of the reported problem.

Because Big Value Inc isn't an authorized dealer, are these still under the Canon warranty? I understand that Canon has the choice to either accept the warranty or not but if it's not is it really worth the discount?

That Adorama Ebay deal seems just as good, 24-105+600EX+5D3 for $3899....that's about $130 more than I paid for the body only in March.
