Didn't see any recent threads on this except for a 24-70 - thought to give this topic a whirl before the season is over

Here's a few to get started:

Beautiful fall photos. I see they were taken in NJ. What lenses did you use?

Christian nice work on "Sleeping Giant State Park, CT (EF50/1.4)" - which reminds me on how much more I should use that 50 1.4.   I caught (not literally) the leaves in the whirl wind.  Was this done in post process (the tunnel effect) or did you swivel the camera on a tripod head ?
Thanks

Thanks!  It was handheld at 1/30 sec.

Btw, thank you!  Your photos convinced me to order the 16-35II.  Your photos are so clean and sharp.  I've been reluctant to get it because the photos I've seen on flickr have such awful vignetting.

Thanks Rev. I had to rush those shots more than I would have liked.

Christian..cool..glad you liked the lens and my UWA posts although some were with the 24-105 L.  I have had no issues with the vignetting (16-35) even with an 82 mm filter such as the B&W ND or the Marumi Polarizer.  I did run Focal on the lens re:  the sharpness so that also may have helped as there was some adjusting on the AFMA.  I also use the RAW format so in DPP on that last tab be sure and select the check box to adjust for distortion.  I don't sharpen much on the landscape shots so that are somewhat flat in that sense.

Can you offer more insight on how you obtain that complete circle view..saw your post on hand held at 1/30 - did you just sway your wrists a full 360 and getting those two leafs in the center without blur was excellent.

Here's another foliage shot..this is about a block from Bruce Springsteen's home and also Bon Jovi's drummer
