This is a great price on this lens.... Makes me think it will be discontinued in about 18 months after they sell about 12,000,000 more of them in kits.
I'm glad I sold mine used a few months ago for $750.

awesome price and good company, i bought my 5d mk ii from them for $1499 a few weeks back and have no complaints :)

I have that lens on a 5D Mark III and can confirm it is very handy and very sharp.  For $749, I would regard that purchase as a no brainier.
