SX20 Replacement
« on: August 24, 2010, 07:37:22 AM »

A bit of info

A lot of people are eager to see the replacement of the SX20.

The only info I have is the following:

1) Replacement this fall.

2) Possibility of two different cameras for the segment.

3) Lithium Ion battery

All of this is CR1

Do that many of us use the SX20?  I did look at them and test one in Best Buy.  In the store, at full zoom, the camera could not autofocus due to the lack of bright light.

I think that lots of people buy the superzooms, but wonder how well they actually do with them.

I'm hoping it'll have RAW support.

i am caught between the Pano FZ100 and the new SX30 - i hope that it does have burst shooting, raw and good video quality.. otherwise i may be leaving the canon camp..
