The final attached shot is just a quick test shot, in my office (CFL lights) of my daughter at ISO 12800 - high IS images are very impressive!

Here's a shot I shared on another thread - this is ISO 1000, using only natural light and no processing other than pulling open the shadows a bit in LR.  It looks ISO 200 at most!

Here's a shot taken with the Tamron 24-70 VC and a 6D, handheld, with a slow shutter speed to capture the movement of the snow (1/15th second).  Great camera, great lens combo.

I really love this camera. I cannot wait to use it to storm chase this year. I am grateful for all the good advice I got on this forum before I made my purchase. I was torn between the 5DmkII, 5DmkIII and the 6D. I think for me I made the right choice.
