Nice one ecka.  :)

Did you use 1/1000 to freeze the action?  ;D

Very cute shot ecka.

I think Click is confusing the two of us.  I'm the one who uses 1/1000 for snails and 1/2000 for turtles at ISO 10 000  :)

Seriously, my absent mindedness led me to shoot this at ISO 10 000.  I was so excited about the beautiful pose and here I am looking at it on the computer and it's all grainy.  Fortunately, I woke up a little further down the trail.

Awesome shot of the snails.  And they say that the 6D can't handle wildlife action shots.   ;D
I shoot with a Camera Obscura with an optical device attached that refracts and transmits light

Thanks, guys. Actually, it was 1/200sec, ISO 100, f/5.6, using shorty-40 at MFD.
I have more :)

A little 6D fun today.  The waxwings were in competition with my friend who just loves dragon fly larvae.

Forgot to mention the baby was about 5 minutes old and had just exited from this shell.  Unfortunately, I missed the action as I was unaware it was going on.  This isn't the best focus but it's all I took.

Hard to imagine such a large creature was packed so tightly in this.

Pretty modest but it is a BIF, I think, and with the 6D!  :)

Thanks Click,

And that wasn't all the excitement.  We went to Elk Island national park for a couple hours and this guy got up from rolling in the dirt when I went closer, so I just shot from where I was in spite of the grass!  What a grouch. When he ran off it was clear he could outrun me.  :)
