Very nice sir.  Hopefully I can shoot something like this once I go back to my province.

ISO 12,800:  this is one area of unquestioned strength on the 6D.  It's high ISO performance may be the best in Canon's lineup.

Beautiful shot. I have not tried all the cameras in Canon's lineup, but 6D does a much better job at ISO 1600+, than the 5D2 (remember those purple shadows and stuff? :) ).
FF + primes !

Thanks sir.

Here's a shot as we ride the Langkawi cable car.  I love the panoramic view up there.  If you want sun, this is one of the places that's cheap on the pocket but offers so much more.  This is in Langkawi, Malaysia.

Hello Everyone!

I have been following CR for over 1 year now and never really had the courage to post my pictures...until now.  I'm not a professional, just someone who really enjoys taking pictures on their spare time.  I picked up my first FF DSLR, the Canon EOS 6D in March 2013 with the 24~105mm kit lens. I also have the 100mm F2.8L IS Macro.  Additional gear includes 430EXII Canon Speedlite and a remote trigger.  My previous cameras were all point-and-shoot and super zooms (Canon SX1IS) so this is quite a step up for me.  I was really frustrated with the quality of night (or low light) shots the p&s gave, so I made the jump directly to FF.

The pictures posted in this site are really amazing and I thought I should share some of mine to get some feedback and to improve my skills.

Please go to my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/31505768@N08/sets

I would love to hear your feedback, good or bad (as long as it is constructive).  I also understand this can be very subjective.  I hope you will enjoy them.

Thank you.

Hi Thomas,

Welcome to CR. I am a hobbyist too and have been here about a year. It's a great place to share and learn.
I looked at all your Flickr photos. They are really really good. I have been to London, Paris and Germany and I have to say, those shots are fantastic! Hope to see more in the future.
